Special Nepali Cricketers

Nepal won the title for the fourth time showing that they are the number one in ACC-U19. In the final Nepal defeated Afganistan, who has not lost any of its game in the match, by 48 runs. To defeat the Afganistan, Nepali bowlers played a key role.

Winning the toss, Nepal chose to bat first; but their decision was proved wrong when Afganistani bowler took key five Nepali wickets with just 60 runs in the score board. But the Nepali players showed their defiance towards Afganistan bowlers and put a total of 171 runs with two balls to spare of fifty overs.

In reply, Nepali bowlers performed well and limited the Afganistan innings in 124 runs all out.

With this win Nepal now plays the runners-up of European region for a spot in the Youth World Cup. Apart from Nepal; Malaysia as the hosts of the World Cup 2008, automatically qualifies for the event.

Crouch Scored for his club

Peter Crouch Scored a goal against Toulouse to give his club a 4-0 win. The coach Benitez also praised his ability to score a goal. Peter coach, the England's striker is also a key player in Liverpool's side. In last year league he has shown his talent that he can also score fabulous and wonderful goals. Many had believed that Crouch is in the field only to score the goals through heading, but he proved that wrong by showing some spectacular self created goals.

ManUtd finally wins

Manchester United finally got its first win in the premiership league. It defeated Tottenham by 1-0 to register its win. Without key players like Ronaldo and Rooney ManUtd was not in its firm and showed a poor performance in its last three games. With this win ManUtd fans have hoped that ManUtd is back in its firm.

To defeat Tottenham, Nani scored a fabulous goal for ManUtd, which was the only goal in the game.

In the other game Newcastle United and Middlesbrough ended in a 2-2 draw and shared a point each.

Chelsea vs Liverpool

Chelsea and Liverpool won their respective game retaining a clear lead from the defending champion ManchesterUnited. They have 10 points each. Chelsea defeated Portsmouth with 1-0 and Liverpool defeated Sunderland by 2-0, showing that they are in the line to win this years title.

In the last game between Chelsea and Liverpool ended in a draw, which made them to share a point each. In that game Liverpool was in the verge of winning the game. Fernando Torres striked for Liverpool giving them one goal lead but in the second half Chelsea was awarded a penalty which saved Chelsea from losing a game and prevented Liverpool from earning three points.

Gabriel Heinze Moves To Real Madrid

Manchester United's Argentina centre-back Gabriel Heinze has moved to Real Madrid on a four year deal. It is said that Heinze had been eager to join United's bitter domestic rivals Liverpool but his wish has been firmly rebuffed by the Premier League champions.

Heinze's leaving Manchester United is a sure set back for them. The club has started this year season with a draw and has lost one of its game as well. And it has to register its first win yet. At this moment if one of its key player moves out of the team then it will be hard for ManU to register its first win.

Chelsea and Liverpool earned a point each after their game ended in a draw. Benitez's team kept Jose Mourinho's team under pressure in the whole game. Both the team tried to create opportunites to score from the beginning of the game, but it was Liverpool who got lead with the goal of newly signed player Fernando Torres. After that goal Liverpool put Chelsea under pressure in the whole game, but they couldnot score. While Chelsea was awarded a penalty in the second half and Lampard scored to equalise the score. Both the teams have played three games and have won two of the games they played. With this result they are on the table with seven points each.

In other game Blackburn hold Arsenal on a draw (1-1) and shared a point. Thanks to the goal by Lehmann on the 70th minute which destroyed the Arsenal's hope of earning three points.

ManU What Happened?

With Ronaldo and Rooney gone, its like ManU has lost its backbone. The game played with Rooney and Roanldo in the team differs a lot then the game played without them. When I watched the first league game of ManU, I had thought that ManU will surely win the league title in a row. Their game was just superb. And Ronaldo and Rooney, they are just amazing. I am not saying that other players of ManU are not talented or best. But they seem to play well when Rooney and Ronaldo are on the team and are lagging when they are not. ManU has lost a game and has earned just two points in three games and slowly its becoming difficult for it to keep the challenge. If it started repeating the same mistakes it has done in the previous three games then its future is at stake.

ManU Defeated

Manchester City defeated the defending champion Manchester United giving them a good slap in their journey to defend the league title. Manchester City sidelined ManU with 1-0. With three games played Manchester City has won all its three games and earned nine points while ManU has drawn two of its games and lost one and has earned only two points and are lagging far behind its rival teams Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Tottenham Won

Tottenham defeated Derby by 4-0 recording their first win in three matches. Earlier they have lost both their games. In Tottenham's win Steed Malbranque scored twice while Jermaine Jenas and Darren Bent scored a goal each. In the first half Tottenham was in lead with three goals within thirteen minutes, after that there was no goals scored. Both the team tried to score the goal but they failed. In the second half Bent scored a goal and made the score 4-0. With this win Tottenham has regained its confidence to compete in the league and make its place in the top of the premiereleague table.

Manchester United Again Failed

Manchester United again field to record a win and settled down in a draw (1-1) against Portsmouth. Whereas its competitor Chelsea and Liverpool has managed to win their games and secure 3 points each. They have played two games and had won both the games while ManU has drawn both the games it played and has earned just two points. If this sort of things continued for some more games than ManU is sure to loose its League title this year. In its game against Portsmouth Christiano Ronaldo got a red card and was sent off the field. And he will misses the next match. ManU has lost Rooney for two games and now Ronaldo is also not available for next game. This will surely affect the game of ManU to retain its League title. Lets hope that ManU will improve their game and prove itself a good competitor to win a Leage Championship.

David Beckham

Beckham Finally Scored A Goal

After being transferred from Real Madrid to Los Angeles Galaxy, Beckham was not being able to score a goal for his club LA Galaxy. He was remaining most of the out of the field due to the injury. But finally Beckham scored his first goal for LA Galaxy against DC United to help Galaxy win 2-0. This win has secured their place in the SuperLiga Final.

Leagues Started

Football leagues of this season has just started. Players after completing their holiday are now ready to face a long football challenge. They are now anew and fresh and are ready to face every challenge and lift the league title.

The league title winner of last year are also ready to meet their opponents and to retain their title. Though they are fresh, they might be undergoing through some mental pressure, because they have to win this years title too and if they can't it will be a great defeat of their dignity.

In English premiere league last year's winner Manchester United has started their match with a draw and his major opponent Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool has started it with a win. Though it might be a set back for ManU, their players are confident enough to win their other game and retain their premiership cup.

ManU is facing Portsmouth today and it is bringing the newly signed player Tevez in the ground after Rooney got hurt in the match against Reading. We have to wait and see how the ManU players will take the game.
